Very well organised tour. Went on my own and was great setting my own pace. Loi my guide is a lovely man full of information. Even liked the drive there.
It was just perfect. Funny, complete, always at time… Ms Tee and the driver were kind all the time. Don’t miss the Mekong Delta, is a unique experience.
I travelled for the first time to Ho Chi Minh with my husband and 3 kids and had been lucky to be in contact with Jenny at Vietnam Discovery. Jenny even arranged for our visa application, airport transfers and private tours to Cu Chi tunnels and to Mekong delta. The vehicles were impeccably clean and almost new and the driver and guide very friendly and helpful. A special thanks also to our guide, Luu Binh, whose company my kids enjoyed. Thank you Vietnam discovery for making our short trip very sweet and enjoyable.

08:00: Be picked up at hotel in Ho Chi Minh City, head toward Tien Giang Province
Tien Giang is located about 70-80 km far away from Ho Chi Minh City and we are here in this province around noon, getting on an old-styled wooden boat for a short rest and having some drinks. After checking-in cabin, you will be then served Vietnamese traditional dishes while cruising on board and spending time relaxing on board as well as immersing beautiful sceneries of this land, right on your boat too.
Taking a rest enough and afternoon comes when our tour guide will take you to view the lush fruits gardens, green paddy fields and communicate with locals to appreciate more about their daily life values which is quite different with the people and life where you are living.
The first day passes so fast and it’s time to come back the boat for leisure while you are on the deck viewing the picturesque sunset, having a sip of soft drinks before having a great dinner in a traditional way on boat.
Overnight on board – Mekong Eyes Cruise
Day 2: Vinh Long – Can Tho – Vinh Long (B/L/D)
Wake up! Wake up early if you want to say hello to the Sun right on boat – the most amazing experience that you will have never had in your crowed, lazy city. Your second day will start with enthusiasm when spectacular sunrise on Mekong River is in your eyes while you are having breakfast, eagerly waiting for the whole day full of wonderful interests.
Cai Rang floating market will be the first stop of the day where you have a true moment of witnessing local people living and trading on their moving boats with full of specialties such as agriculture products, etc.
